Department of Housing and Urban Development Secretary Shaun Donovan will deliver the keynote address at AHF Live: The Affordable Housing Developers’ Summit in Chicago.
Donovan, the nation’s top housing official, is scheduled to open the three-day conference by addressing affordable housing developers and owners from around the country at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 20.
He will share his unique perspective on the housing market and what's coming next for developers.
The 15th secretary of HUD, Donovan is in his second term of leading the agency. He has devoted his career to ensuring access to safe, decent, and affordable housing, and has continued that effort in the Obama administration. Prior to joining HUD, he served as commissioner of the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development.
Donovan’s appearance means the program will start earlier than originally scheduled. Attendance is restricted to those registered for AHF Live. For more information, visit www.ahflive.com.
