Beyond being Passive House certified, Village Centre has photovoltaic panels on the roof to help power the property.
Village Centre features 21 one-bedroom, 17 two-bedroom, and 10 three-bedroom units.
Village Centre has had a major impact on the overall Brewer community, fulfilling multiple public purposes—increasing affordable housing, revitalizing a downtown neighborhood, and creating a supportive housing program to help end long-term homelessness in the Brewer/Bangor area.
