The 300-unit Kings Terrace includes 72 three-bedroom and 32 four-bedroom apartments to serve large families in Miami-Dade County.
Developed by the Pinnacle Housing Group, the community encourages resident interaction through multiple playgrounds, picnic areas, basketball courts, walking paths, and a splash pad.
The Kings Terrace property was bought out of foreclosure using Neighborhood Stabilization Program funds.
“Understanding that Kings Terrace could be a significant catalyst for neighborhood revitalization, the team decided to decrease the density and create a master plan with open spaces, a myriad of remarkable amenities, and lush landscaping—a design strategy typically unheard of in such an urban setting. The result is a thoughtfully orchestrated property that despite being only three stories high still reaches for the sky,” says David O. Deutch, a partner at Pinnacle Housing Group.
The project is one of the single-largest recipients of Neighborhood Stabilization Program money.
