Mercy Housing California’s preservation of The Arlington prevented the loss of important affordable housing in San Francisco’s Upper Tenderloin.
The development serves residents earning 25 percent to 40 percent of the area median income. More than 100 of the building’s residents are formerly homeless individuals.
The building underwent significant accessibility upgrades, and new spaces were created for the increased presence of supportive service staff.
