From the late 1890s to 1963, the site served as the Irvington Loop, a storage yard and trolley turnaround. Enterprise Homes transformed the trash-strewn, rat-infested lot into needed housing for Baltimore's seniors.

Residents can look out over the Mount Saint Joseph High School athletic fields across the street from the project. The landscaping incorporates the school colors, purple and cream.

The four-story development features more than 5,000 square feet of common area space, including a fitness room, an activity/computer room, a TV lounge, and a community room.
