The first phase was bifurcated into two separately financed projects. Phase 1A was financed with 4 percent low-income housing tax credits (LIHTCs) and tax-exempt bonds, while Phase 1B was financed with 9 percent LIHTCs.

The project offers ample outdoor space for the residents, including community gardens, a dog park, a spa, and barbecue areas.

The development team has partnered with EngAGE, a nonprofit service provider that focues on creative and healthy aging with arts and wellness activities. Classes include pottery, painting, and drawing.

The project also features a 99-seat performance theater, art studios, an audio/visual studio, and a resident art gallery.
