Developed by SKA Marin, Metro East 99th Street serves chronically disabled residents in New York City. The development is one of the first financed under New York’s Medicaid Redesign Team initiative.
The development's 175 studio and one-bedroom apartments were designed with accessibility in mind. Some of the features include lower windows in apartments so wheelchair uses can see out and roll-in showers with seats.
The East Harlem development features outdoor seating and garden space for residents.
