WinnDevelopment has converted two historic mill buildings in Lawrence, Mass., into 75 units of mixed-income housing.
The development team preserved the historic nature of the building while still creating energy-efficient living spaces.
The property is part of the 29-acre fleece factory now home to Polartec.
The mixed-income property will serve residents at 60 percent and 30 percent of the area median income, with the remaining 5 percent of units allowing for market-rate residents.
