AMCAL Multi-Housing and East Los Angeles Community Corp. has converted an abandoned hospital into a 120-unit affordable housing development for seniors.
Linda Vista serves seniors earning between 30% and 60% of the area median income.
The new development includes a library as well as a computer room, a game room, a gallery, a barbecue area, community gardens, a rooftop lounge, and program space for social services.
The development includes community spaces that can be used by residents and the surrounding neighborhood for large events.
