The Schmidt Brewery, one of Minnesota’s 10 most endangered historic places, has been preserved and rehabilitated into 247 units by Dominium. The project also includes 13 townhomes for a total of 260 units.
The $122 million project is financed with a mix of low-income housing tax credits, tax-exempt bonds, and historic tax credits.
Designed with artists in mind, the project takes advantage of the building’s high ceilings and natural light to create a unique space for residents to work and display their art.
