Developed by Housing Trust Group and AM Affordable Housing, Courtside Apartments brings 84 affordable homes to Miami's Overtown neighborhood.
It's a slam dunk that Courtside Apartments, co-developed by basketball great Alonzo Mourning's AM Affordable Housing and the Housing Trust Group, would have a basketball court.
Completed in September 2016, almost 10 years after it was initiated, the 84-unit Courtside Apartments includes one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, along with four live/work units for families earning no more than 60% of the area median income (AMI), including nine units for those earning no more than 33% of the AMI.
Financing for the $22.8 million development includes a $7.5 million grant from the Southeast Overtown/Park West Community Redevelopment Agency.
