Designed by Pappageorge Haymes Partners, Clybourn 1200 has a "book-shaped" design. The seven-story concrete building maintains the acute angle of the site while glazed end walls, anchored by a glass feature and a canopy at the "spine," provide a backdrop to the corner plaza. Window units are punctuated with a bright contrasting color.
Clybourn 1200's sustainable design has garnered it Green Globes (2) certification from the Green Building Initiative. The building features a solar panel water heater system that uses evacuated tube solar collectors.
