Developed by Project for Pride in Living, Rising Cedar Apartments provides 40 affordable apartments to adults with serious and persistent mental illness in the Twin Cities. It is also the headquarters for Touchstone Mental Health as well as a health and wellness center.
The $11.7 million project was intentionally designed to be a healing environment to enhance health and wellness. Developers worked with UrbanWorks Architecture and mental health experts on the design.
Gathering spaces create opportunities for residents and Touchstone Mental Health staff to easily and naturally interact.
The health and wellness center includes rooms for specialized therapies and space for nurses.
