Ashland Place adds to the community revitalization efforts underway in the neighborhood. The commercial space is slated to be part of Alameda County's economic development strategy for a food hub for small local businesses.

With parking on the perimeter of the site, ample space was left for a large inner courtyard with a tree-lined central green, a built-in barbecue, a children's play area, and a sculptural wood and steel canopy.

Ashland Place

Ashland Place features 29 one-, 29 two-, and 27 three-bedroom units for residents earning between 30% and 50% of the area median income. In addition, 15 units are set aside as supportive housing for low-income young adults who don't have family support systems.
