Minneapolis
The historic Pillsbury A Mill in Minneapolis was restored into the A-Mill Artist Lofts.
The 251-unit development is designed to take advantage of the building’s natural light, high ceilings, and existing character to provide inspiring live/work spaces for its artist residents.
The adaptive reuse of the historic site involved the rehabilitation of the former A-Mill North, South Mill, Cleaning House, Warehouse 1, Red Tile Building, and Warehouse 2.
Common areas at A-Mill Artist Lofts provide space for artist residents to work. Residents can take advantage of numerous studios tailored to yoga/Pilates, dance, paint, pottery, play/performance, sound, and media as well as an on-site fitness center and galleries where they can showcase their work. They also can socialize on the Warehouse 2 outdoor patio, in the community rooftop clubroom with a full kitchen, or in the lounge area on the rooftop deck.
