Margiotta was in the 11th class of women to graduate from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and served for nine years as an Army officer, mostly in special operations command. She was the fourth woman ever to gain admission to a top-secret special mission unit.

She also has a strong housing connection. She led the ambitious 100,000 Homes Campaign, a large-scale change effort that mobilized over 185 cities to house 105,000 of their most vulnerable and long-term homeless people in just under four years. Now, as the principal and owner of The Billions Institute, she trains leaders in the social sector on how to scale their solutions to the world’s most pressing problems in a way that advances truth, justice, and joy.

Margiotta’s keynote address, “Transformational Leadership: Unleashing Your People to Get Big Things Done,” will be one of the highlights of this year’s AHF Live conference. In addition, there will be high-level panels on the latest financing tools and development trends as well as networking opportunities to help developers and owners find the solutions they need to build more housing and create stronger organizations.

Attendance is reserved exclusively for people who are primarily affordable housing developers and owners, work for management firms, and representatives from state and local housing agencies. Services providers and others must exhibit or sponsor in order to attend. Sign up at ahflive.com with the code AHFCOMMUNITY to receive $50 off your registration fee.
