Stratford Capital Group announced that it has closed a $100 million low-income housing tax credit fund.

Stratford Fund VII, LP, is comprised of 12 affordable rental apartment properties in 11 states.

Seven institutional investors, including leading banks and insurance institutions, participated in the fund, which will help finance the development of more than 1,300 affordable housing units.

  A Boston-based real estate investment and development firm, Stratford Capital has a multifamily rental housing portfolio of 10,700 units in 25 states and the District of Columbia.
