ColoradoReceives 18 LIHTC Requests in Round Three

Developers submitted 18 applications for low-income housing tax credits in the third round held by the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority.

In all, more than $17 million in tax credits was requested, more than four times the $4.3 million that the agency will award in this round, which includes $1.1 million for the final phase of a Denver Housing Authority HOPE VI project, said officials.

OhioAwards Nearly $1 Million in Grants

The Ohio Housing Finance Agency awarded nearly $1 million in funding to 20 community housing development organizations (CHDOs) through its Competitive Operating Grant Program.

The funding can be used to cover housing development activity costs associated with the creation of affordable housing. CHDOs are private nonprofit community-based organizations that develop affordable housing for their communities.
