With the expiration of the Tax Credit Assistance Program and many states and localities struggling with budget cuts, Affordable Housing Finance asked readers if they are still finding gap financing readily available. The response was not encouraging.
Three-quarters of Housing Finance Online survey respondents said it has been a struggle finding gap financing, and the remaining 25% said although gap financing has been available, it has been tougher to find.
