Leila Ahmadifar has become senior vice president, strategic investments, at City Real Estate Advisors, a low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) syndicator.

She had been the director of LIHTC investments for the Structured Lending and Investments Group at Citigroup.

N.Y. Housing Executive Joins CPC

Michael Skrebutenas has joined the Community Preservation Corp., a leading nonprofit lender for affordable housing throughout New York, as senior vice president and regional director of the firm’s Albany office.

He is the former president of housing preservation and executive deputy commissioner at the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal.

Hunt Hires CHA Executive

William Little, a longtime Chicago Housing Authority (CHA) executive, has joined the Hunt Cos. as senior vice president of public-private partnerships.

In his new role, he is charged with advancing Hunt’s affordable housing platform.

For the past decade, he has been the executive vice president of development at CHA, where he oversaw the development of more than 20,000 units in collaboration with different partners.

AHEPA Expands Tax Credit Focus

Todd Jensen has been named assistant director of acquisitions and refinancing for AHEPA National Housing Corp.

In his role, Jensen will focus on securing tax credit financing and evaluating acquisition and refinancing opportunities. AHEPA is a national developer of Sec. 202 affordable seniors housing.

Centerline Welcomes SVP

Jon Killough has joined Centerline Capital Group as senior vice president in the affordable housing debt division.

Based in Montgomery, Ala., he will be responsible for sourcing affordable housing debt opportunities in the Southeast. Killough had been vice president at Rockport Mortgage Corp.

U.S. Bancorp Announces Moves

U.S. Bancorp Community Development Corp. (USBCDC), U.S. Bank’s community investment subsidiary, announced the promotion of eight employees.

Bill Bayer has been named director of syndications and new business initiatives. Kris Switzer has been promoted to head of tax credit asset management. Mandy Kozminske has been named director of LIHTC asset management. Ana da Silva has been named director of the New Markets and historic tax credit asset management staff. Laura Skiles has been promoted to director of renewable energy tax credit (RETC) asset management. Vihar Sheth has become head of LIHTC business development. Darren Van’t Hof has been promoted to head of business development for RETC investments. Dan Siegel has been promoted to director of project management for RETC investments.

Developers Launch New Firm

Three affordable housing veterans have formed Cambridge Housing Partners, a developer of workforce and affordable housing based in Denver.

David Garcia, Jeff Dean, and Sarah Rucker Robertson will serve as managing director, project finance director, and development director, respectively.

Garcia most recently led the development group at Steele Properties, where Dean and Rucker Robertson assisted him in expanding the firm’s affordable portfolio and footprint.

Cambridge Housing Partners will focus on the preservation and substantial rehab of at-risk, project-based Sec. 8 housing communities nationally.

Lubell Moves to Abt

Jeffrey Lubell has joined Abt Associates as the research firm’s first director of housing initiatives.

He has served the past seven years as executive director of the Center for Housing Policy, the research affiliate of the National Housing Conference.

Warren Joins Greystone

Andrew Warren has joined Greystone’s affordable housing preservation division as director of investments. He will lead the group’s efforts in raising equity capital for properties, as well as securing debt and financing through various partnerships

He was recently director of portfolio management at Centerline Capital Group.
