Fentress & Barnes, a Columbus, Ohio-based accounting firm focused on the affordable housing industry, has joined Clark Schaefer Hackett (CSH), one of the state’s top professional services firms and a Top 60 accounting firm in the nation.
The Fentress & Barnes team is integrating into CSH with a combined staff of 350. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Todd Fentress, founding shareholder, has been serving the affordable housing industry since the low-income housing tax credit was created in 1986. He will chair the national affordable housing group at CSH.
“F&B has been a committed player for many years, and with the resources of CSH behind us, we’ll build upon our foundation to become a national leader in the affordable housing industry,” he said in a statement.
CSH has a comprehensive line of accounting and advisory services for developers, investors, syndicators, and others working in affordable housing.
