National Housing Week of Action Starts Today

The Our Homes, Our Voices National Housing Week of Action has kicked off.

From May 1 to May 8, organizations and individuals across the country will host over 90 local events and activities to call attention to the importance of affordable housing and explain why Congress needs to increase investments in affordable housing.

Events will include rallies, letter-writing parties, open houses, and voter-registration drives.

The National Housing Week of Action comes at a time when only one out of four people who qualify for housing assistance receives help.
