Federal agents recently searched the Ohio home of Frank Sinito, head of The Millennia Cos., according to an AP article.
Millennia is one of the nation's largest affordable housing owners with approximately 31,000 units in 274 developments as of Jan. 1, ranking fifth on AHF's list of top owners this year.
"The raid comes months after HUD barred Millennia Cos. from receiving any new federal contracts with the department for five years," says the AP story.
"Sinito’s attorney, Marisa Darden, confirmed in a statement that federal agents were at Sinito’s home and said he and the company were cooperating with the investigation," says the article.
