Boston Capital announced that it is investing in three affordable housing developments in North Carolina.
The low-income housing tax credit projects are the 54-unit Admiral Pointe for seniors in High Point, the 52-unit Sunset Place Apartments for families in Asheboro, and the 36-unit Ardsley Commons for seniors in Locust.
The general partners are Sunset Place Manager, LLC; Admiral Pointe Manager, LLC, and Wynnefield Development III, LLC, all affiliates of Wynnefield Properties, Inc.
Boston Capital’s investment adds 142 affordable housing units to its apartment portfolio. The construction of these properties will generate a combined $14 million in local income and create approximately 210 jobs.
To date, the firm has invested in nearly 5,100 affordable housing units in the state.
