  • Family;
  • Green;
  • Historic Rehab;
  • Mixed-Use;
  • Preservation;
  • Public Housing Redevelopment;
  • Rural (a place with a population fewer than 20,000)
  • Seniors:
  • Special-Needs; and
  • Urban

AHF will select the finalists, which will be featured online and in the July/August issue, based on several criteria, including impact on the community, evidence of cost effectiveness, creative problem solving, innovative design or construction, and outstanding social services for residents.

Magazine and newsletter subscribers as of July 1 then will vote for the winner in each category. Winners will be recognized in the November/December issue as well as at AHF Live: The Affordable Housing Developers’ Summit, Nov. 14 to to 16, 2022, in Chicago.

AHF will seek nominations for its Hall of Fame and Young Leaders programs separately this spring.
