Pennrose Appoints Director of Security and Safety

Kevin Tarangioli has joined Pennrose as the company’s first director of security and safety, reaffirming the company's commitment to resident and personnel safety across its communities.

Tarangioli will oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of comprehensive security procedures, including preventive measures during site selection as well as site and building design. He will also support the development and implementation of response plans and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Prior to joining Pennrose, he served as corporate safety and security specialist at New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Group, where he managed security and safety operations for 3,000 employees, contractors, and visitors across three corporate locations. He also brings vast experience in emergency preparedness, physical security, and investigations.

Avanath Expands Capital Team

Troy S. Jenkins has been named senior vice president, investor relations, at Avanath Capital Management, an Irvine, California-based company focused on affordable and workforce housing.

Jenkins will lead capital-raising initiatives for Avanath’s affordable housing, development, and debt funds while fostering relationships with institutional investors and consultants.

Over his 30-year career, he has built an extensive network of leading global institutional investors, including pension funds, insurance companies, and endowments. Jenkins recently led U.S. operations and spearheaded the development of investment strategies and capital-raising efforts as principal and director at Avison Young Investment Management.

Prior to joining Sabal, she served as chief operating officer at Banyan Tree Asset Management. Choe has also held leadership positions at Finfare Advisors, Everett Harris & Co., Angeles Investment Advisors, and Bel Air Investment Advisors.

Housing Expert Joins Lincoln Institute of Land Policy

Solomon Greene has been named executive director of land and communities at the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy.
He will play a leading role in developing the vision and strategy for the institute's land and communities impact area. He will also be instrumental in overseeing the quality, coherence, and coordination of the Lincoln Institute's work within and across impact areas, centers, and geographies to create lasting impact in the communities the institute serves, according to the organization.
An expert in housing, community development, land-use law, urban and regional planning, technological innovation, and evidence-based policymaking, Greene led the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Office of Policy Development and Research during the Biden administration, starting in July 2022. For more than seven years, Greene was a senior fellow at the Urban Institute.
