The NRP Group Makes Move in Florida


Bill Zunamon has joined The NRP Group as vice president of development, marking the firm’s expansion beyond market-rate developments to include affordable and workforce housing in Florida.

Zunamon will play a crucial role in establishing NRP's affordable project portfolio in the state, where he will collaborate with nonprofit organizations, public housing authorities, and governmental agencies at all levels to identify and execute projects that address the state’s housing needs.

The industry veteran previously served as vice president of development at McDowell Housing Partners (MHP). During his tenure at MHP, he was responsible for securing financing and overseeing the origination of 14 low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) developments, totaling over 2,000 workforce and affordable housing units throughout Florida.

Avesta Housing Appoints Corporate and Major Gifts Officer

Zoe Alexis Scott has joined Avesta Housing, the largest nonprofit affordable housing provider in northern New England, as its corporate and major gifts officer.

Scott brings 20 years of nonprofit leadership and advancement experience to Avesta Housing. Her most recent tenure was as director of advancement and external relations at Portland Public Library. She has successfully raised funds for organizations in the performing arts, animal welfare, and land conservation sectors.

Headquartered in Portland, Maine, Avesta operates about 100 affordable properties, more than 3,000 apartments, and two assisted living facilities, providing safe, affordable homes for more than 4,000 people every day.

Pennrose Management Announces Promotion

Dana Green has been promoted to vice president of operations at Pennrose Management Co., where she will pay a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s strategies and optimizing processes to ensure the highest quality service to residents.

Green will oversee the Alabama, Georgia, Maryland, Tennessee, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., regions, totaling 48 properties and 4,081 units.

With nearly three decades of experience in affordable, Section 8, and market-rate residential management, Green joined Pennrose in 2023 as a regional property manager in the Mid-Atlantic region. She also previously held property management and supervisory roles with POAH Communities, Columbus Property Management, and Kay Apartment Communities.

Walker & Dunlop Adds to Equity Team

Diego A. Benites has been named a managing director of originations at Walker & Dunlop Affordable Housing Equity. He is responsible for originating, structuring, and negotiating LIHTC transactions primarily in the Southeast region.

Benites has closed $2.5 billion in housing investments, including LIHTC syndications, multifamily developments, and corporate finance transactions. Prior to Walker & Dunlop, he was a senior vice president of equity production at Boston Financial. Earlier, he was a vice president of acquisitions at Boston Capital. During his career, Benites’ responsibilities have included originations, investment placement, underwriting, negotiation, coordination of due diligence, and obtaining investment approvals.

Before working in the affordable housing industry, he held development and corporate finance roles at Archstone-Smith, a publicly traded multifamily real estate investment trust.

Dominium Names Construction VP

Adam Brookins has been promoted to vice president of construction for the self-perform team at Dominium, a leading affordable housing owner, developer, and manager.

Brookins will oversee project managers, superintendents, and claim specialists for a variety of projects involving capital improvements. He will work with properties to identify and solve physical building issues. Brookins will also ensure timely incident and insurance repair requests as well as oversee and manage resyndication renovations.

Brookins joined Dominium in 2019 as a senior construction project manager.

Bellwether Enterprise Bolsters Team

Bob Momeier, senior vice president, has joined Bellwether Enterprise (BWE), where he specializes in providing financing solutions for affordable multifamily and senior housing acquisition, refinancing, and repositioning opportunities.

Before joining BWE, the industry veteran held positions at Colliers, Greystone, Amherst Securities Group, Coastal Securities Group, and Meyers Pollock Robbins, where he worked in both real estate finance and securities brokerage for more than 30 years. Momeier is based in Houston.

Rotter’s appointment comes as CRM Residential celebrates its 50th anniversary, marking a significant milestone in the company’s journey. An accomplished executive, he brings a strong financial background as a chief financial officer and CPA to his new role.

Founded in 1974, CRM Residential has been a cornerstone in property management, overseeing nearly 90 communities, managing 9,000 apartments, and serving over 20,000 residents.
