Leadership Change at NPH
Amie Fishman will become executive director of the Non-Profit Housing Association of Northern California when Dianne Spaulding retires from the top post in January.
Since 2006, Fishman has served as the executive director of East Bay Housing Organizations (EBHO), a nonprofit membership organization working in California's Alameda and Contra Costa counties to preserve, protect, and expand affordable housing opportunities.
Prior to EBHO, Fishman was director of supportive housing for Mission Housing Development Corp., a San Francisco-based nonprofit affordable housing developer.
Spaulding has been with NPH for 22 years. During her tenure, NPH has become one of the largest and most active affordable housing advocacy organizations in the nation. The association supports more than 750 members representing affordable housing practitioners and developers in the nine counties and 101 cities around the San Francisco Bay Area.
AHC Appoints CFO
Steve Yeatman has been named CFO at AHC, an Arlington, Va.-based nonprofit affordable housing developer and owner.
Yeatman has more than 20 years of operations management experience in the real estate, development, and construction industries. Prior to joining AHC, he worked with Foulger-Pratt, a development, contracting, and property management firm, for 17 years. During that time, he served as controller, interim CFO and chief accounting officer.
Pennrose Hires V.P. of Learning
Michael J. Pico has joined Pennrose Management Co. (PMC) as vice president of learning and employee development.
In his new capacity, he leads organizational development for PMC, including creating individual career plans with each employee. This is the first position of its type for the company.
Pico comes to PMC after working at Caesars Entertainment as vice president of enterprise learning, where he oversaw training for approximately 65,000 domestic and international employees. Earlier in his career, he was director of training and development at AIG American General.
The Philadelphia-based Pennrose firm develops and manages affordable and conventional communities throughout the East.
Jamboree Housing Expands Team
Michael N. Woodhart has been hired as president of Quality Development and Construction, Inc., a Jamboree Housing Corp. entity established to bring design and construction expertise to the firm’s affordable housing developments.
Headquartered in Irvine, Calif., Jamboree has $233 million in affordable housing projects in its development pipeline and a $1 billion asset portfolio that includes the development of and/or ownership interest in more than 7,400 homes in more than 75 California communities.
Woodhart’s 25 years of experience includes building nearly 2,500 units of market-rate and affordable family and senior multifamily housing in Southern California. Prior to joining Jamboree, he was a senior project manager with Portrait Homes from 2006 to 2014, where he served as the company’s general contractor. Prior to that, he was vice president of construction with Lucas Cos.
Laura Archuleta, Jamboree president, said that as the dedicated, licensed general contractor for Jamboree projects, Woodhart and the development team will bring general contracting capacity to Quality Development and Construction’s services as Jamboree continues to expand its property portfolio. Additionally, it will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the highest industry standards and benchmarks such as energy efficiency and sustainability as well as other design and construction requirements.
