Anne Wilson Joins Linc Housing

Affordable housing veteran Anne Wilson has joined the executive team at Linc Housing as chief real estate development officer.

In her new role, Wilson oversees the housing organization’s development operations, including acquisitions, new business development, project financing, and construction administration. She’ll also support Linc’s external partnerships and advocacy efforts.

Wilson was recently with Chelsea Investment Corp., where she supervised development teams responsible for financing and building a project pipeline. Prior to that, she was senior vice president for housing and real estate development at Community HousingWorks.

One of California’s top nonprofit developers, Long Beach-based Linc has helped create nearly 8,500 homes in 85 communities throughout the state.

Pennrose Names Head of Southeast Development Activities


Amon Martin has been promoted to regional vice president of the Southeast for Pennrose, following the recent retirement of Mark Straub.

Martin joined the firm in 2016 as a senior developer. He has led the company’s Atlanta office and contributed to the execution and growth of Pennrose’s development pipeline in the Southeast, including all aspects of the real estate development process from initial conception through construction, to lease-up and stabilized occupancy or sale.

Earlier in his career, Martin served as senior development director with The Integral Group, where he contributed to growth and new business development and was charged with mixed-income and mixed-use developments in the Southeast. He also worked at The Shelter Group, located in Baltimore, where he led the development of affordable and market-rate multifamily and senior housing in the Mid-Atlantic.

New Executive to Lead NJHMFA

Melanie Walter is the new executive director of the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency (NJHMFA). She succeeds Charles Richman in the top role.

Walter has been with the the state Department of Community Affairs (DCA) as director of its Division of Local Government Services and has served as chair of the state Local Finance Board. Prior to joining DCA in 2018, Walter served as deputy attorney general in the New Jersey Division of Law’s Personnel, Community Affairs, and Elections section.

NJHMFA, an affiliate of DCA, is a statewide and national leader in providing and advocating for affordable housing and homeownership. The agency provides financing to developers to create quality homes and provides mortgage loans and down payment and closing cost assistance to help homebuyers.

Phoenix Realty Group Names Managing Director, Principal

Henry Gom has been named managing director and principal at Phoenix Realty Group (PRG), a national multifamily real estate owner, operator, developer, and fund manager.

He is responsible for the firm’s Central region and select market acquisitions and asset management. In addition, Gom is a member of the executive team and investment committee.

Prior to joining PRG, he was a senior vice president at Torchlight Investors and has worked at Annaly Capital Management, Citi, and Merrill Lynch.

Headquartered in New York with personnel in California and Florida, PRG has three business lines: value-add, new construction, and affordable housing.

MFRG-ICON Names Director of Community Relations and Partnerships

Peter “Gold” Ezugwu has joined MFRG-ICON Construction as director of community relations and partnerships.

Ezugwu will use his extensive experience as a philanthropist and public speaker and his leadership skills to impact MFRG-ICON’s communities. He will work alongside the firm’s social impact committee to identify opportunities for the firm to partner with nonprofit organizations, clients, and other social and community organizations.

After more than a decade as a pro athlete, Ezugwu began a new journey as an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and community leader. In the 10 years since entering the business world, he has established programs pertaining to leadership, education, technology, mentorship, and sports. One of his first startups was Future Stars, an impactful community organization, which he took from launch to sale. Since then, Ezugwu has worked with ASC, PowerVision, and The One Group furthering his experience in community relations.

Lindsey Haines has been named senior vice president of real estate development and Corina Pitsenbarger will serve as the first senior vice president of property management at Full Circle Communities, a Chicago-based nonprofit.

She will be responsible for setting and achieving strategic development growth objectives for the company, with plans to more than double the number of developments undertaken per year.
