United Church Homes Announces Leadership Transition
The Rev. Kenneth Daniel is stepping down as CEO of United Church Homes (UCH) and Radiant Alliance on Feb. 7. To ensure a smooth transition, Daniel will continue as a senior strategic adviser through June 30.
Ken Young, who has served as president of UCH since July 2023, will assume the role of president and CEO, while also joining Radiant Alliance, a consortium of nonprofit health care and service providers, as its CEO representative.
This planned transition concludes Daniel’s 14-year tenure, during which UCH experienced significant growth and innovation
Since 2011, under his leadership, the Ohio-based nonprofit has nearly doubled in size and revenue. His tenure saw the expansion of UCH’s senior living community portfolio and the launch of innovative services like the NaviGuide service coordination program, providing home-based and digital care for older adults.
As president, Young has been instrumental in leading UCH’s operations, strategic initiatives, and financial growth, positioning the organization to succeed in an evolving industry.
UCH serves nearly 7,000 residents in more than 90 owned and managed market-rate and affordable housing communities in 15 states and two Native American nations.
