AHF is honoring six rising stars in affordable housing. This year’s Young Leaders are going above and beyond in their jobs, helping their companies reach new milestones and taking active roles in the larger industry. They play vital roles in the creation and preservation of affordable housing across the nation, from massive public housing redevelopments to housing on tribal lands.

All under 40, our list of influential fresh faces includes developers, a low-income housing tax credit syndicator, an attorney, and a consultant working with American Indian tribes on housing and economic development.

Since 2008, affordable housing finance has been honoring young men and women who are making a big difference in the field. The Young Leader award was created as a way to celebrate and support the development of a new generation of leaders. The 2017 Young Leaders will be honored at AHF Live: The Affordable Housing Developers Summit, Nov. 14–16, at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.
