State HFAs are a critical part of the affordable housing delivery system across the country and are leaders in addressing affordable housing needs in their respective states. In conjunction with consulting firm The Chatman Group, Enterprise Advisors will partner with HFAs to further their collective mission, offering a range of organizational, programmatic, technical assistance and financial services.

“Enterprise’s decades of experience with low-income housing tax credits, asset management, fair housing, HUD compliance, and organizational development positions Enterprise Advisors well to assist HFAs in reaching their goals,” said Paul Bernard, vice president, Enterprise Advisors, in a statement. “As we look to grow our advisory services across a range of new clients, HFAs represent an excellent opportunity to help fulfill our goal to end housing insecurity in the country.”

Enterprise's expertise in all aspects of affordable housing will be useful to many HFAs, said Eric Chatman, president of The Chatman Group. “I am excited about the opportunity to help leverage the capabilities of Enterprise Advisors and the HFA community,” he said.

Over the last 40 years, HFAs have provided significant resources and expertise to address affordable housing needs. As a group, they are strong financially, have a solid track record of accomplishment and have exhibited the programmatic agility to adapt to changing market realities, said Enterprise.
