Forty-three developments have been selected to receive low-income housing tax credits (LIHTCs) from the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency (NCHFA).

Located in 36 counties, the developments will provide more than 2,800 affordable homes, according to NCHFA, which reserved $23 million in 9% credits to the developments.

Southside Revitalization II, an 85-unit project in Durham by the Durham Community Land Trustees, received the largest reservation, $847,861.

Six tax-exempt bond projects totaling 862 units were also approved this cycle.
