The North Dakota Housing Finance Agency has reserved more than $2 million in low-income housing tax credits (LIHTCs) to six developments.
The credits will help support the creation of 142 affordable housing units.
The two largest awards of approximately $650,000 went to Beyond Shelter, Inc., for the construction of the 42-unit Heritage Hills in Dickinson and the 32-unit Washington Townhomes II in Minot.
LIHTCs were also awarded to:
- Pride, Inc., for the construction of Independence Pointe, creating 23 units for special-needs households in Bismarck;
- Turtle Mountain Housing Authority for the construction of Turtle Mountain Homes #8, 24 units in Belcourt;
- G.A. Haan Development, LLC, for the construction of Williston Senior Apartments II, 21 units serving elderly households in Williston; and
- An additional $33,888 was reserved to Metroplains LLC/Community North Dakota to complete construction of Minot Place Rowhomes in Minot.
