Forty-four developments have been awarded low-income housing tax credit reservations in North Carolina.
The projects, which will provide 2,950 units, are in 36 counties across the state. They will receive about $22.9 million in total housing credits, according to the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency (NCHFA).
For the third consecutive year, a record was set for the most units produced in a cycle, with 452 units more than last year’s awards.
NCHFA also approved four tax-exempt bond deals with 733 units.
