Twelve properties in six states will share $14.8 million to preserve rental assistance for their elderly residents, announced the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
The funding is through the Senior Preservation Rental Assistance Contracts (SPRACs) program and is targeted for properties in HUD’s Sec. 202 program.
The latest funding will support affordable rent for seniors in 1,716 units in California, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Oregon, and Washington.
