A senior commercial banker in the community development banking group at JPMorgan Chase, Jessel Amin leads the team’s East Coast Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) lending strategy.

Committed to the mission of CDFIs, she works to provide them with comprehensive banking solutions that support their programs, including real estate development, and uplift neighborhoods.

Key contributions: She manages a portfolio of CDFI clients and prospects to meet their banking needs; leads business development strategy to expand CDFI relationships for the East Coast region; and has originated more than $100 million in credit solutions for CDFI clients, including a major investment in Enterprise Community Partners’ Equitable Path Forward, which provides capital to Black, Latino, and other historically marginalized developers.

Previous role: Senior manager of capital markets and investments at Capital Impact Partners, a national CDFI.
