Colorado Housing and Finance Authority has selected 12 developments to receive low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) reservations in the first allocation round of 2017.
The selected developments will receive approximately $11.3 million in federal LIHTCs and approximately $9.5 million in state housing credits. The awards will support the new construction or preservation of 1,290 affordable rental units in the state.
The round was to award state LIHTCs combined with 4% LIHTCs. A second round will be held to award competitive 9% LIHTCs.
