A 216-unit development is about to undergo a major rehabilitation in Humble, Texas.
FTK Construction announced that it has been awarded a $12.2 million contract and has a construction start date of May 1. The lender for the project is Regions Bank.
Built in 2005, The Park at Humble Apartments has a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom townhome apartments.
Interior renovations will include new paint, cabinetry, countertops, door hardware, plumbing fixtures, flooring, and light fixtures, plus HVAC replacements and Americans With Disabilities Act unit conversions. A number of exterior and laundry room renovations will also be made, according to FTK, a nationwide general contractor specializing in affordable housing developments.
This is the company’s first project with property owner DevCo Residential Group, an integrated development and investment company focused on multifamily communities. Founded in 1994, DevCo and its affiliates develop, own, and manage over 10,000 affordable and market-rate apartments throughout the United States.
