Rehabilitation Preserves 90 Affordable Homes in Texas

FTK Construction Services has completed the rehabilitation of Seville Apartments, a 90-unit affordable housing development in Beaumont, Texas.

The preservation project included both interior and exterior renovations, including new flooring, paint, appliances, countertops, cabinets, and bathroom upgrades. The effort also includes full siding replacement to the patios, new climate control systems, new picnic areas, and other improvements, announced FTK, a full-service general contractor specializing in affordable housing projects.

The contract value for the rehabilitation was approximately $4.8 million.

The property is owned by Steele Properties, with property management overseen by its sister company Monroe Group. The architect for the project was Benton Design Group, and the lender was Ready Capital.
