The Lofts at Loomworks

Worcester, Mass.

The Community Builders has transformed an abandoned historic mill building into The Lofts at Loomworks in Worcester, Mass.

All 94 apartments serve families earning no more than 60% of the area median income (AMI), with 19 units reserved for those earning no more than 30% of the AMI.

The Community Builders employed creative financing to establish a unique condominium structure and secure both 4% and 9% low-income housing tax credits.

The Lofts at Loomworks includes 51 one-bedroom apartments and 43 two- and three-bedroom apartments, with additional accessible apartments and fully accessible common areas.
