Excitement is building. I just got off the phone with the Honorable Paul Sarbanes and the Honorable Nancy Johnson, two of the most important housing advocates in Congress up until this past December. I am very excited that they will be our keynote speakers at AHF LIVE: The Tax Credit Developers Summit coming up October 24-26 in Chicago. These two leaders may no longer be in Congress, but they have a great deal to teach us about the dynamics of Washington and the political outlook for housing in the coming years of fundamental political change. I hope to see you in Chicago. For details, click here.
Meanwhile, I also want to call your attention to our coverage on the web of our Readers’ Choice Award finalists. These projects represent the best work of our nation’s most skilled developers. And it’s up to our subscribers to choose the winners, so check them out, and if you are a subscriber, please vote. Go to www.housingfinance.com. As always, don’t hesitate to contact me directly at ashashaty@hanleywood.com if you have news we can use.
