Help Mercy Housing Residents in Joplin, Mo.

Mercy Housing has established a Web page to help residents of Mercy Village, the nonprofit’s affordable seniors housing property in Joplin, Mo., that was severely damaged by a tornado this week.

All the residents and staff were unharmed. However, residents have been unable to return to their apartments because of the storm damage.

Mercy Village is located by St. John’s Regional Medical Center in one of the area’s hardest hit by the tornado.

The Web site is accepting donations to assist the residents.
