New Hampshire Awards LIHTCs

The New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority board of directors has reserved $2.7 million in low-income housing tax credits to five developments that will add 140 new apartments to the state’s housing supply.

The total development cost of the projects exceeds $28 million, and the work is expected to support an estimated 300 construction –related jobs.

Tax credits were approved for:

  • South Porter Street, Phase II, a 30-unit seniors housing project in Manchester sponsored by the Manchester Housing & Redevelopment Authority;
  • Harriman Hills, Phase I, a 24-unit development in Wolfeboro sponsored by the Laconia Area Community Land Trust;
  • Theatre Street, a 45-unit development in Concord sponsored by CATCH;
  • Town and Country, Phase II, a 25-unit project in Littleton sponsored by AHEAD, Inc., and
  • Whitehall Road, a 16-unit project in Hooksett sponsored by NeighborWorks Greater Manchester.
