Interim President Joins LHFA

Don Hutchinson has been named interim president of the Louisiana Housing Finance Agency (LHFA).

He joins LHFA from the Louisiana Division of Administration Office of Community Development Disaster Recovery Unit, where he has been working with disaster recovery efforts.  He has served in numerous leadership capacities in state government under different administrations. 

Hutchinson was selected by the board of the Louisiana Housing Corp., a new agency that was established to run the state’s various housing programs. It recently prepared a transition plan to merge the state’s housing-related agencies.

Alesia Wilkins-Braxton, who has been acting president at LHFA, is leaving at the end of January.
