$30M repair fund eligibility widened

A HUD notice today broadens eligibility for the $30 million HUD advertised in May as available for emergency capital repairs to multifamily seniors' projects. The help had been available only to projects with final closing dates before 1999, but today's notice opens the funding to newer buildings in presidentially declared disaster areas.

Couple of information collections at HUD today too, on energy audits for PHA-owned or -leased properties, and on the HUD requirement that applicants for some housing aid must show citizenship or immigration papers.
