A columnist in Beaumont, Texas wants to know when Texas' $74.5 million share of the quake relief grants will be released for use... The San Francisco Chronicle reports from last week's federal homelessness meeting in Denver that the "housing first" supportive housing policy really is getting more people off the streets... the Louisville Courier-Journal joins the critics of Secretary Jackson's recent comments (yesterday's Post summarized the current state of the story)... and Jared Bernstein of the Economic Policy Institute does a nice little riff on the economist as lonely detective.
