Robertson Out at AIMCO
David Robertson resigned
as co-president and CFO of
AIMCO Dec. 31 to “seek
opportunity”
as a CEO
with another
company,
according
to a statement
by
the Denverbased
REIT.
Robertson
had served
as CFO since
early 2009,
replacing
Tom Herzog,
who had held the position since 2005. Tim Beaudin, the company’s
other co-president,
will continue as president,
while Ernie Freedman, formerly
senior vice president
of finance, will now become
CFO and executive vice president
of the nation’s fifth-largest
apartment owner.
Eddington Retires from
Camden
Steve Eddington, senior
vice president of operations
for Houston-based Camden
Property Trust, retired
Dec. 31. The company announced
that he would not
be replaced, and instead, his
duties will be handled by the
REIT’s three division vice
presidents—Tom Sloan, East;
Dawn Mathwig, Central; and
Elaine Withrow, West.
Wilkes Leaves Post
Properties
Thomas L. Wilkes, president
of Post Apartment Management
and executive vice
president of Post Properties,
left the firm Dec. 31 as part of
a restructuring effort at the
Atlanta-based firm. S. Jamie
Teabo, senior vice president
of property management, and
Charles A. Konas, executive
vice president of construction
and development, will
replace Wilkes.
Walker & Dunlop Staffs
New Chicago Office
Walker & Dunlop, one of
the largest multifamily lenders
in the country, expanded into
Chicago in the fall, opening
a new office that’s led by Vic
Clark, former managing
director for Column Financial.
Additionally, in November, two
more producers, Andy Aiello and Michael Katz, joined
the Chicago office. Aiello
formerly served as principal
at Prudential Mortgage
Capital Co., while Katz was
previously a vice president at
Column Financial, after cofounding
Inland Commercial
Mortgage.
