Lane Co. Announces Promotions

Debra Jackson has been promoted to senior vice president of Lane Co.’s Real Estate Capital Markets Group. In 2007, Jackson and her team closed 20 development and acquisition projects with a total capitalization of $630 million in debt and equity.

In addition, the firm has promoted Paul Richards to vice president of the Real Estate Capital Markets Group.

Formerly known as the Finance and Disposition Department, the Real Estate Capital Markets Group has expanded its role over the past two years from projectlevel debt placement to structuring and raising all project-level capital for development and acquisition transactions.

Underwriting Pro Named Deputy Chief at Arbor

Michelle LaVictoire has been appointed deputy chief underwriter for Arbor Commercial Mortgage, LLC. LaVictoire will manage the daily underwriting operations for the firm across multiple product lines. She formerly served as the principal senior underwriter for Banc of America Securities, where she underwrote commercial real estate loans nationwide.

Loan Guru Heads Dallas Office for KeyBank

David Shillington has moved into the role of senior vice president and director of agency lending for KeyBank Real Estate Capital. He is relocating from Charlotte, N.C., to Dallas to head the firm’s national originations group for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Federal Housing Administration loans.

SureDeposit Appoints President

Richard Schreiber has been named president of SureDeposit, a provider of security deposit alternatives to the multifamily industry. Schreiber will direct the Livingston, N.J.-based firm’s growth in new and existing markets and help to refine the company’s strategic plan. He co-founded Rent Port/Credit Retriever, a resident screening company. He has also served in top positions in real estate development and financing.
